What do you do with the name, the blood, and the responsibility you were born into?
The Life and Times of Prince. Adesina Olusanya Adeyemi-Doro is the story of a man who found out — and chose to build something worthy of it.
About the Book
Some people are born into names that carry weight — royal lineage, ancestral expectation, a destiny announced before they could choose it. The question is never whether the heritage is there. The question is what you do with it.
This book answers that question through one man’s life.
Prince. Adesina Olusanya Adeyemi-Doro grew up as a son of the Onigbo ruling house of Otan-Ayegbaju, Osun State — carrying a name rooted in history. But this is not a book about royalty as privilege. It is a book about royalty as responsibility.
Across fourteen candid chapters, you will follow him from a childhood shaped by faith and family, through his years building a career in Nigeria’s healthcare and insurance sector, through trials that tested everything he believed, and finally into a season of public service — as a leader who chose to bring all of it back to the people he came from.
If you have ever wrestled with who you are versus who you were told to be — or wondered what it means to lead with both humility and conviction — this book was written for that tension.
The Journey
A Life in Three Acts
It begins with roots — a royal bloodline in Otan-Ayegbaju, a faith planted early, a family that showed him what it means to belong to something larger than yourself.
It deepens through fire — the years of building a career, navigating failure, finding conviction, and learning that purpose is rarely handed to you. It must be chosen, again and again.
It arrives at a calling — a man who could have stayed comfortable, choosing instead to bring everything he is back to the people he came from.
Fourteen chapters. One extraordinary life. A story that asks you, the reader, the same question it asked him: What will you do with what you’ve been given?
